The French modeling agent close to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein has been accused of sexual harassment, the Paris prosecutor’s office announced on Thursday.
A woman has filed a complaint in Paris against Jean Luc-Brunel, the founder of Karin Models and MC2 Model Management, who was known as a frequent companion of the late fund manager.
The prosecutor’s office did not release the woman’s name or any other details.
Weeks after Epstein committed suicide behind bars while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, France opened an investigation into whether Epstein committed sex crimes on French territories or against French minors .
Investigators shine the spotlight on Brunel, accused of procuring daughters for the disgraced financier.
Earlier this month, Brunel, through his lawyer, denied reports he was on the run and said he was available for questioning.
Lawyer Corinne Dreyfus-Schmidt also said the talent scout “strongly disputes the allegations disseminated by the press”.
Brunel, who is over 70, has been credited with discovering models Christy Turlington and Milla Jovovich.
