San Antonio’s first-ever Plus Fashion Fest will take place in November.

The Nov. 3 event will bring together plus-size women’s designers and boutiques at the Roszell Gardens Event Center, 7561 E. Evans Road, from 2-9 p.m.

“Also, fashion is the next big thing for San Antonio, and we’re ready to ignite the spark and build momentum,” festival organizers said in event details.

Tickets can be purchased online and range from $30 to $150 depending on the package.

Admission includes the opportunity to shop at over 50 local vendors, attend a fashion show, network with industry figures, enjoy photo stations, attend seminars on body positivity and win door prizes.

The inaugural event will also mark the launch of San Antonio’s “first-ever” modeling and talent agency, Luxe Loft Model.

The Luxe Loft modeling agency and Indie Soleil magazine, which organizes the festival, will organize a casting on October 20 at Elite Artisan studios. Eight “very special” models will be chosen to wear vendor designs, attend seminars and walk the runway, according to details posted online.

Interested talent should bring a printed or digital portfolio, model comp card, wear tight jeans or pants and a plain tank top and hair pulled back.

“It will be one of the busiest fashion events of the year and we are breaking new ground for this city,” organizers said in detail.
