Bockarie Kargbo is a 29 year old model, commercial model and actor from Bo Town Sierra Leone currently residing in Johannesburg South Africa. Passionate about performing arts and modeling, he decided to join 33 and Me Talent Agency in July 2021 and immediately fell in love with craftsmanship. He quickly blew the team of 33 and me away with his talent, dedication and willingness to learn and apply his knowledge.

While in Freetown, he studied at Bluecrest College (SL) where he graduated in Network Engineering in 2014. What drove him was the fact that he could change his story and create a future that he could be proud. Bockarie is also very passionate about fitness and takes care of physical strength and endurance. He is an avid tennis player, coaching youngsters and creating awareness and love for the sport he loves playing so much.

His greatest inspiration in life is his friend and mentor, Dr Onyeka Nwelue, a senior lecturer at Oxford University, writer and filmmaker. Bockarie believes in facing fears, that Will allows him to speak

with crowds and teach others to be brave in the face of adversity.

In 2021, Mr. Kargbo auditioned for the International ARTS Talent Showcase, Africa’s largest talent convention where he won an award for Best Commercial Male Model and he earned himself a spot to present in front of celebrities. prestigious and international names such as Nate Butler -Jnr Casting Director for Steve Harvey Show, A&R for X-Factor America and a singer who has sold over 52 million copies at last count. Blaze Johnson – The Voice America, Rhavynn Drummer – Executive Casting Director for Tyler Perry Studios, representing AMDA and IMTA Joey Hunter – President of Ford Models in New York for 30 years.

He represented his country very well after winning a $60,000 scholarship from AMDA, the world’s largest performing arts academy. Even if the

scholarship was for his stage presence as a model, he dreams of an acting career and is currently working hard to hone the skills he learned to hone his talent.

He will fly to America in July 2022 where he will represent his country in front of more than 250 agents, managers, record labels

He has also been featured in several TV commercials such as VISA, GLO cell and GoTV which aired across Africa. This has boosted his self-confidence and credibility within the industry in Africa. He is determined to show off his skills to become a well-known actor.

Currently, he is studying computer science at the University of the People in America and hopes to get a first-world education so he can apply the knowledge gained to help people in his country understand and apply technology effectively. He comes from a place with few opportunities and being able to travel to America motivates him to work even harder physically, emotionally and mentally.

To be chosen to represent himself and his country in America is a dream come true for him and the people who believe in him. His greatest role model is his beloved mother Abie Kargbo. A strong woman he has never seen give up in life, even when the going got tough, she is strong and a firm believer in equality rights.
